PRIVACY STATEMENT

It is our policy that any information shared with us will be treated as private/personal and kept strictly confidential. Information, whether deemed personally-identifying in nature or not, will not be shared with anyone or any entity/entities not affiliated with PI-NE or TAPS, our parent organization, without written permission, except under the following circumstances that warrant disclosure to law/police authorities.

OUR DUTY TO DISCLOSE

a) It is our legal duty to report any suspected abuse and/or any type of conditions and/or behaviors that may be deemed to constitute a possible threat to the physical and/or mental health and well-being of the client(s), the occupants (both human and non-human) of the client’s home/business/property, our team, and/or the general public.

b) We are legally obligated to disclose to authorities whenever we encounter suspected drug trafficking, money laundering, acts of terrorism, or treason.

c) In addition, if PI-NE members suspect an illegal act has occurred and/or that a client is at risk of harming themselves or others, they must report this to the PI-NE Director, who will subsequently report it to the appropriate authorities.

NOTE: If circumstances warrant the necessity for us to disclose your information, we will inform you of this need. We do not make judgments about client lifestyles. It is not our business, nor do we intend to make it so, except as to how it may affect our investigation. When dealing with our clients, we always strive to conduct ourselves with utmost professionalism and appropriateness, as well as sensitivity. We ask that our clients remain substance-free and refrain from engaging in any illegal activities while we are on the premises.
